Job summary

PARS Therapy in Dallas (East), TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team.

Provide skilled OT services in patients' homes under supervision, implement individualized plans, educate families, document visits in EMR, and collaborate with the care team. Texas OTA certification and valid driver's license required; home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in home visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OT treatment to patients at home under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Support patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or chronic conditions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, and adaptive strategies.
• Accurately document visits, progress, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
