PARS Therapy in Garland, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. You will provide skilled occupational therapy in patients’ homes, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies.

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas (COTA).
• Experience in home health care or similar setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a home health environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment to patients in their homes under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence and daily living skills.
• Support patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or chronic conditions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, and adaptive strategies.
• Accurately document visits, progress, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do:
