Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care under a plan of care with a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Arizona.
• CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card.
• One (1) Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with a registered nurse to provide care per individualized plan of care.
• Record patient health status and report to the nurse.
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence.
• Assist daily living activities: dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance, may include using mechanical lifts.
