BJC Home Care is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care in patients' homes within Missouri. The role involves travel across the service area, performing essential nursing support, vital signs, and routine patient care under supervision.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with mileage reimbursement and no weekend on-call duties. Prior home health experience is a plus, but candidates with a strong patient-care background and BLS/CNA credentials are encouraged to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be comfortable with community travel and going into patients' homes.
• Previous home health experience is a plus, but not required.
• Licenses and certifications such as BLS and CNA are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtains vital signs and other measurements as directed and documents findings promptly.
• Meets patient hygiene, comfort, nutrition, and hydration needs and documents as required.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal findings or changes in patient status to the nurse throughout the shift.
• Implements care under the supervision of the nurse or Primary Case Manager in home health settings.

Role Purpose

The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient/resident care and assistance in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and nursing standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs and other measurements as directed and documents findings promptly.
• Meets patient hygiene, comfort, nutrition, and hydration needs and documents as required.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal findings or changes in patient status to the nurse throughout entire shift.
• Implements care under the supervision of the nurse.or Primary Case Manager. In Home Health, this can be done with a RN/PT/OT or Speech Pathologist.
