Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, one-on-one care in patients' homes across Vinton, VA and surrounding areas. Flexible scheduling includes part-time, PRN and full-time options with weekly pay based on experience.

As a CNA, you will assist with activities of daily living, collaborate with the home health team, and support patient independence, comfort, and dignity within the home setting.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Virginia.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification and baseline TB skin test required.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for patients in a home setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility support.
• Support meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional intake.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Work alongside home health nurses to ensure patient care plans are followed.
• Observe patient condition and report changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
• Maintain accurate communication with patients, families, and care team members.

We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants - CNA to provide high-quality, one-on-one care in a home setting throughout Vinton and the surrounding coverage area. This position is ideal for CNAs who enjoy helping others maintain independence, comfort, and dignity within their home environment.

As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA, you will assist patients with activities of daily living while working closely with the home health team to ensure patients receive exceptional care in accordance with their individualized care plans.
