Position Summary

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide care at private homes for shifts that may last several days or weeks, depending on client needs. Responsibilities include offering personalized assistance to residents in their daily routines.

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in healthcare, geriatrics, or working with the elderly preferred
• Desire to work with the geriatric population essential
• Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance
• Training as per state requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide care support within assigned geographical regions
• Drive up to 45-50 miles as needed
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Follow medication protocols and assist with ADLs
• Monitor and report health status and changes
• Maintain client dignity and privacy
• Participate in activity programming
• Complete documentation accurately
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Be flexible with scheduling and assignments, including emergencies

Working Conditions

Stand for long periods, communicate effectively, and perform physical tasks such as walking, reaching, and lifting. Travel to various locations is required. The environment is moderately noisy.
