Job summary

Care Right There Home Care is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) in New Jersey to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services under RN supervision. Work is available in South Jersey communities, with flexible shifts to fit your schedule.

You'll perform ADLs, provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal planning, and mobility support while maintaining client dignity and safety. Training and ongoing CEUs are provided.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CHHA Certification required.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Clear background check and drug screening.
• Must be dependable with excellent communication skills and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Light housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and prescribed exercises.
• Support independence while maintaining client dignity.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse.
• Attend company-provided ongoing training and CEUs.

Job Description

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) provides personal care, companionship, and homemaking services that support the client’s comfort and health at home. Services are performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Light housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
• Meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping

• Attending company-provided ongoing training and continuing education (CEUs)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs and assist clients with mobility
• Ability to drive to client homes (some may not be wheelchair accessible)
• Good vision, hearing, and overall physical health

Work Location

Client homes throughout South Jersey including Gloucester County, Camden County, Salem County, Cumberland County, and nearby areas
