Job summary

Care Right There Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking in clients' homes across South Jersey, including Gloucester, Camden, Salem, and Cumberland counties.

You will work under RN supervision with flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, and per-diem), weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. Training and advancement opportunities are available to grow your career.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CHHA Certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Clear background check and drug screening are required.
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and have excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transportation is required to serve clients at home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Plan meals, prepare meals, and assist with grocery shopping.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and prescribed exercises as directed.
• Support independence while maintaining client dignity.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervising RN.
• Attend ongoing training and CEUs provided by the company.

Job Description

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) provides personal care, companionship, and homemaking services that support the client’s comfort and health at home. Services are performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Light housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
• Meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and prescribed exercises
• Supporting independence while maintaining client dignity
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition to the supervising nurse
• Attending company-provided ongoing training and continuing education (CEUs)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs and assist clients with mobility
• Ability to drive to client homes (some may not be wheelchair accessible)
• Good vision, hearing, and overall physical health

Work Location

Client homes throughout South Jersey including Gloucester County, Camden County, Salem County, Cumberland County, and nearby areas
