Job summary

BrightStar Care of East & NW Columbus is seeking a Part-Time Home Health Aide (HHA) to support a Columbus client in a home setting. You will provide homemaking and personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility help, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.

The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (12 hours/week). A compassionate, dependable professional with a valid driver’s license is preferred, and benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in home care or related field.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Comfortable working in a home with a small dog.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Must be available for the complete Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
• Provide mobility assistance and help maintain a safe home environment.

• Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the care team.

Part-Time Home Health Aide (HHA)

Location: Columbus, OH 43215

Pay: Starting at $16 per hour

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

Hours: 12 hours per week

Client environment: The client has a small dog
