Job summary

BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington, and Woburn is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) and Caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care. Locations include Woburn, Bedford, Lowell, and surrounding areas, with shifts offering flexibility and opportunities for advancement.

Earn $19–$21 per hour with weekly pay and benefits. Candidates must have a valid HHA certificate, CPR, and meet health and background clearances. Join a team that values caring for clients as much as its employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Home Health Aide Certificate required.
• CPR certification required.
• Preferred: 1 year of documented caregiver/home care experience.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Required: HHAs must have valid/verifiable Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable educational program.
• Required: Certified CPR
• Preferred: one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to provide support to push and pull, bend, lift, kneel depending upon the mobility of the client and must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
