Altra Home Health is seeking caring CNAs and HHAs to provide essential personal care to patients in their own homes across Indiana.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and support safety while maintaining dignity and privacy. This position offers competitive weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and benefits within a patient‑focused team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when needed.
• Provide friendly medication reminders.
• Help ensure patient safety at all times.
• Promptly report significant changes in a patient's condition to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Support patients with ambulation.
• Guide patients through range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Keep thorough documentation and follow all care protocols.
• Uphold privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer hands-on bathing assistance.
• Handle light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide meaningful companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
