Job summary

Altra Home Health seeks compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to deliver essential in-home care. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, administer basic care, and support safety and comfort for clients in their homes.

Requirements include being 18+, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, CPR certification, and about 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.
• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when needed.
• Provide friendly medication reminders.
• Help ensure patient safety at all times.
• Promptly report significant changes in a patient's condition to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Support patients with ambulation.
• Guide patients through range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Keep thorough documentation and follow all care protocols.
• Uphold privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer hands-on bathing assistance.
• Handle light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide meaningful companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
