Once your application is received and reviewed, you will be contacted for a personal interview with the facility coordinator. At the time of your first interview you will also take a brief prescreening test. The test score and personal interview will determine your eligibility. How Much Does HHA Training Cost?You only earn money with this opportunity. This training is paid. However, typically this training program costs approximately $1500.00.Are There Home Health Aide (HHA) Employment Opportunities?**Yes! There is a need for this type of training and job opportunities are available. Once the training is successfully completed you may transition into a full or part time HHA role at Elderwood Assisted Living at West Seneca. How Do I Qualify? Qualified HHA Applicants Must:Be 18 years of age or older Possess a high school diploma or GEDProvide immunization records Pass a physical Pass a background check Follow written and verbal instruction Be able to frequently lift/move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds Have excellent interpersonal skills Have a love of caretaking and relationship-building!
