Job summary

AMOR HOME HEALTH CARE in Bala Cynwyd, PA, seeks compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide non-medical care in clients' homes across Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

We offer full-time and part-time on-site opportunities with schedules based on client needs. You will work closely with families to understand routines, preferences, and safety plans.

Qualifications

• At least two years of caregiving or home care experience.
• Experience assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Strong communication skills, including clear reporting, active listening, and respectful interaction.
• Reliable transportation to assigned clients’ homes.
• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Support mobility and safe transfers according to the care plan.
• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry related to care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and report changes in client condition promptly.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff.
• Document care and clock-in/clock-out times.
• Maintain attendance and respect client privacy and preferences.

Based in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, we serve clients across Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. We welcome dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) who are committed to making a meaningful difference in their communities.

Role Description

We offer full-time and part-time, on-site HHA/PCA opportunities providing care in clients' homes throughout our Pennsylvania service areas. Assignments consider caregiver location, availability, and preferred travel distance. Available schedules and hours depend on client needs.

Responsibilities include

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers according to the client's care plan and your training.
• Helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry related to the client's care.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Following individualized care plans and promptly reporting changes in client condition or safety concerns.
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and office staff.
• Accurately documenting care and recording clock-in and clock-out times.
• Maintaining reliable attendance and respecting each client's privacy, preferences, and cultural background.

Qualifications

• At least two years of caregiving or home care experience.
• Experience assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Strong communication skills, including clear reporting, active listening, and respectful interaction.
• A dependable, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to follow care plans, maintain documentation, and adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; HHA/PCA certification or relevant training preferred.
• Reliable transportation to assigned clients’ homes.
• Ability to meet required background screening and agency onboarding requirements.
• Current TB screening documentation or willingness to complete required screening before placement.
• Willingness to complete required competency assessments and agency training.
• Ability to perform essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
