Job summary

Rockaway Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides to support clients in Nassau County, New York. HHAs will provide one-on-one in-home care, including personal care, daily living assistance, mobility support, meal prep, and medication reminders as permitted.

We offer flexible schedules and opportunities across full-time, part-time, and per diem roles. Qualified candidates have a NYS HHA certificate, are authorized to work in the United States, and demonstrate reliability, compassion, and strong

Qualifications

• Current New York State HHA Certificate is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable and compassionate with strong communication skills.
• Commitment to providing respectful, quality care.
• Previous home care experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home care.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Mobility assistance and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders where allowed.
• Light housekeeping related to client needs.
• Provide companionship and report changes.
• Complete required documentation and follow care plan.

Now Hiring HHAs Throughout Nassau County | $18–$22/Hour

Rockaway Home Care is looking for caring, reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support clients in their homes throughout Nassau County, New York.

With clients across the county, we're looking for HHAs in Hempstead, Levittown, Mineola, Freeport, Port Washington, Massapequa, Long Beach, Inwood, and surrounding Nassau County areas.

What Does an HHA Do?

You'll provide one-on-one support in a client's home, which may include:

• Personal care and hygiene assistance

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Assistance with activities of daily living

• Mobility support

• Meal preparation

• Medication reminders as permitted

• Light housekeeping related to the client's needs

• Companionship

• Reporting changes in the client's condition

• Completing required documentation

• Following the established plan of care

Qualifications

• Current New York State HHA Certificate
