Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support clients in their homes. This per diem role starts with flexible scheduling and the potential for consistent part-time or full-time hours based on availability.

You will perform activities of daily living, light housekeeping, bathing, grooming, medication assistance, and vital sign checks, with 24/7 on-call clinical manager support and opportunities for scholarships.

Qualifications

• One year of verifiable direct care experience such as a hospital, nursing home or home care agency setting
• HHA training program available for those interested and not meeting our experience requirements - inquire during application process!

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
