Job description

*Pay starts at $20 / hour!
*This is a part-time position on 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), or 3rd shift (11pm-7am).

The Home Health Aide (HHA) will provide assistance with daily living activities for residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia. Responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, documenting and reporting care, and transporting residents. Familiarity with Alzheimer's/Dementia and a willingness to work with the elderly are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with activities of daily living such as grooming, hygiene, toileting, bathing, and eating.
2. Helping with personal and household chores, errands, and mail delivery.
3. Transporting residents for meals, activities, and other programs.
4. Following resident care plans diligently.
5. Monitoring residents for behavioral or health changes and reporting them promptly.
6. Responding to emergencies and maintaining a safe environment.
7. Adhering to safety, infection control, and community policies.
8. Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
9. Performing additional duties as required.

Education and Certification Requirements:

1. Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
2. Fulfillment and maintenance of continuing education credits as mandated by the state.
3. Willingness to obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR certification.
