Job summary

Family Pillars Homecare is expanding in the Kendall area, seeking dedicated HHAs and CNAs to join our compassionate team. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, supporting fall-risk patients with safety, transfers, and providing companionship.

You will follow each patient’s care plan, protect privacy, and communicate changes to the care team. Eligible candidates hold an HHA certificate or CNA license, CPR/BLS, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• HHA Certificate (or pass the HHA State Exam) or CNA License (required)
• CPR/BLS Certification (required)
• Physical Health Form within the last 6 months
• Negative TB Skin Test or Quantiferon TB Blood Test result
• CEU - HIV/AIDS Certificate
• CEU- Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Certificate
• Level 2 Background Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of car insurance
• Ability to work independently and professionally

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility
• Care for a fall-risk patient with safety focus
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow the patient’s individualized care plan
