Home Instead is hiring Care Professionals to provide non-medical, in-home care for seniors across Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties in Florida.

You’ll perform personal care, daily living support, and safety tasks based on each client’s plan, with flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive office team.

This role emphasizes reliability, clear communication with clients and the office team, and compliance with Florida Level 2 background screening, CPR, and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or home care is preferred.
• Ability to follow Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and client care plans.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain CPR.
• Valid Florida Level 2 background screening or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical in-home care including personal care, daily living assistance, companionship, and safety support.
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Observe and report changes in condition and maintain a clean, safe home environment.

What You’ll Do

Our Care Professionals provide a combination of personal care, daily living assistance, companionship, and safety support based on each client’s individual needs. The specific duties you perform will vary depending on the client and their care plan.

Personal Care

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
• Help with dressing and toileting
• Provide incontinence care
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation

Daily Living Support

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, general tidying)
• Provide companionship and emotional support

Health & Safety

• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Observe and report changes in condition
• Maintain a safe, clean environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, or senior care experience is preferred
• A compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to client care
• Ability to follow Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and the client's care plan
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and the office team
