Home Instead is hiring Care Professionals to provide non-medical, in-home care for seniors in Florida. We offer flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, PRN) and paid training to help you succeed, plus mileage reimbursement and a supportive local office team.

As a Caregiver/HHA, you will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and incidental transportation in clients' homes across Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required to travel to client homes.
• CPR certification is preferred or may be required by the employer.
• Florida Level 2 background screening may apply.

Responsabilités

• Provide incontinence care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation.

What You’ll Do

Our Care Professionals provide a combination of personal care, daily living assistance, companionship, and safety support based on each client’s individual needs. The specific duties you perform will vary depending on the client and their care plan.

Personal Care

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
• Help with dressing and toileting
• Provide incontinence care
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation
  
  

Daily Living Support

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, general tidying)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
  
  

Health & Safety

• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Observe and report changes in condition
• Maintain a safe, clean environment
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, or senior care experience is preferred
• A compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to client care
• Ability to follow Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and the client's care plan
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and the office team
• A valid Level 2 Background screening. This position is subject to Florida Level 2 background screening requirements through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. For more information, visit https://info.flclearinghouse.com
