Job summary

Valley Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to support individuals in the comfort of their homes in Pennsylvania. This role focuses on maintaining client independence while ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being; no prior patient-care experience is required beyond the right attitude and responsibility.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, monitor changes, help with mobility, perform light housekeeping, and maintain confidentiality under HIPAA

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care is helpful but not required.
• Right attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines and protect client information.
• Ability to work independently while communicating with the care team.
• No certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition.
• Assist with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when needed.

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive and respectful environment
• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior
• Assist with mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines when handling client information

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong caregiving abilities, including personal care, cooking, and housekeeping
• Ability to work independently while also communicating effectively with a care team
• Dependable, patient, and attentive to client needs
