Visiting Angels Longview, TX is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist seniors in East Texas. You will provide compassionate in-home care, support daily activities, and help maintain independence in familiar surroundings.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with ambulation, mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Support personal care and hygiene routines.
• Help with prescribed medications and routine exercises as directed by the supervisor.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input and preferences.
• Accompany clients during shopping or outings as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as requested.
• Provide a supportive, compassionate presence and monitor client well-being.

Home Health Aide - HHA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
