Job summary

Arbor Terrace Monmouth in Shrewsbury, NJ is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for full-time and part-time roles. You'll support residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate, person-centered care in a premier senior living community.

You must hold a current New Jersey HHA certification and have at least 6 months of caregiving experience. A HS diploma or GED is required, and compassion, dependability, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey HHA certification is required.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or home care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship and build meaningful relationships with residents.
• Encourage participation in social activities and community events.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and resident safety.
• Partner with nurses and team members to deliver exceptional care.

What You'll Do

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you'll help residents maintain their independence while providing compassionate, personalized care by:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene

• Providing companionship and building meaningful relationships with residents

• Encouraging participation in social activities and community events

• Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being

• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and resident safety

• Partnering with nurses and fellow team members to provide exceptional resident care

• Helping create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents can thrive

Qualifications
