Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers for positions in Clearwater, Largo, Palm Harbor, Oldsmar and Dunedin. You will provide non-medical in-home care, delivering companionship and daily living support one-on-one to seniors who wish to age in place.

Starting at $17.00 per hour based on experience and certification; higher rates for short shifts. Benefits include vision, dental, life, disability insurance, 401K, paid orientation and CEUs, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must be physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship in clients' homes.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed.
• Help with medication as required.
• Provide transportation for appointments and errands.
