Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking qualified Home Health Aides to support clients in McArthur, Ohio and surrounding counties. The role focuses on compassionate personal care and maintaining clients’ independence at home.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, assistance with toileting, mobility, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry. Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience, pass a background check, be 18+, and complete competency and skills assessments.

Qualifications

• Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year.
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Competency evaluation and skills assessment required
• Able to independently lift 25lbs.
• Demonstrate empathy, patience and good personal hygiene.
• Comfortable performing personal care, grooming, meal prep and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: baths, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing.
• Assists with toileting, mobility and activities of daily living.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and clean living environment.
