Job summary

A Place at Home is seeking a Home Health Aide to join our care team. You will provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care, assisting clients with ADLs under supervision of registered nurses to support individualized care plans in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities include helping with daily living activities, meal planning, medication reminders, light housekeeping, mobility support, companionship, and reporting changes to the supervising nurse.

Qualifications

• Completion of state-approved Home Health Aide certification course.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Compassionate and empathetic with a strong desire to improve the lives of others.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of patience and understanding.
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and physical movement as necessary.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
