$16 - $21 per visit, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Obtain temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Assist patients with getting in and out of bed, bathing, hygiene, and toileting.
• Prepare and assist with meals.
• Perform light homemaking and environmental services.
• Observe, report, and document any changes in patient status.
• Understand basic body functions and report changes as indicated.
• Recognize emergency situations and implement appropriate procedures.
• Follow infection prevention, hazardous waste handling, and safety measures.
• Follow written instructions for personal care per care plan.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state certification/registration as a nurse assistant.
• CNA experience within the last two years; otherwise, complete training and competency program.
• Current CPR certification.
