Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

Overview

Eligible for $3,000 Sign-on Bonus with two-year work commitment to OSF Home Care - external candidates

POSITION SUMMARY: The Home Care Aide works under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist, following a plan of treatment to provide personal care and emotional comfort to patients in various settings. The aide travels to patient homes to deliver in-home care daily. The care provided must be age-appropriate, meeting the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School/GED
• Licenses/Certifications: CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant
• Valid Driver's License in current status
• Own transportation and auto insurance
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Phlebotomy Experience
