A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to deliver quality care to patients in compliance with their care plans. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, and relevant training and experience in direct patient care, and demonstrate proficiency in English. You will be responsible for patient interaction and well-being under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while contributing to a supportive healthcare team.
POSITION SUMMARY:
To perform intermittent direct or indirect hands-on patient care to meet the patient's needs in accordance with the plan of care and assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
One year of current experience in a skilled nursing facility, home health agency, or proven proficiency.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Completion of the State-approved Home Health Aide Training course, Home Health Aide competency exam, and certification through the New Jersey State Board of Nursing. Ability to work in a changing patient care environment and meet patients' needs (chronic and/or terminal illness). Ability to work cooperatively within the healthcare team, with patients and family members. Ability to utilize effective time management skills to prioritize, perform responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergencies. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English. Valid driver's license, registration, inspection sticker, and appropriate insurance coverage, including collision. Employees must adhere to HR Policy 108, demonstrating an acceptable driving record as long as driving is a job responsibility.

Benefits
Salary: Starting from $18.37 to $22.96 per hour. Actual salary varies based on experience, education, and licensure. This salary does not include other compensation or benefits.
