Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home of Southwest Boston seeks compassionate caregivers to assist seniors in their homes. A valid driver’s license and insured vehicle are required, with the ability to transport clients for appointments and activities.

Advanced English, reliable scheduling, and strong communication are essential. Training is provided, and the role offers flexible hours across mornings, days, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support for seniors in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities and transportation to appointments.
• Maintain clear communication with clients’ families and supervisors.
• Adapt to morning, daytime, and evening shift needs.

Weekdays, Weekends & Overnight availability wanted

• 7am or 8am start time ideal


• 4-12 hour morning/day/evening shifts


• Competitive Pay @ $21/hr

Do you check all the boxes? (must meet all of these to be considered)

• A valid driver's license and insured vehicle with your name on the policy


• Able to provide transportation for clients for appointments, Shopping, engagement activities, etc.


• Advanced Proficiency in English –ability to read, write and communicate clearly. Great communication is ESSENTIAL in this role.


• Can commit to an ongoing availability of 3+ designated, recurring days.

Other Qualifications

• Is RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE and can commit to a set schedule.


• Experience providing direct care, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nurse’s Assistant. We will also consider private care or care for a loved one as experience. (Certifications are a plus but not required).


• Is able travel up to 15-20 miles for shifts (approx. 30 min commuting time)


• Can lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.


• Has full access to internet, email, and mobile phone w/ability to use a phone app. (WellSky experience a plus)
