Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide in-home personal care and other health-related services under the direction of registered professionals. This full-time role involves compassionate patient support, safe mobility assistance, and adherence to care plans in patients' homes.

Required: completion of Home Health Aide competency and basic skills tests, six months of paid agency caregiver experience, and a valid MO driver’s license with MO CNA/CMT/CMA license or grandfathered

Qualifications

• Must follow directions and perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Show sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
• Must be able to provide reliable transportation as required by the position.

Home Health Aide: Education:

• Required: Completion of Home Health Aide competency test to be administered by CoxHealth at Home staff before Hire.
• Required: Completion of Home Health Aide basic skills test to be administered by CoxHealth at Home staff within 90 days of hire.

Experience:

• Required: Six months of paid experience as an agency caregiver.

Skills:

• Ability to follow directions and perform duties with minimum supervision.
• Exhibit sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
• Ability to provide reliable transportation as required by nature of position.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Required: Active Driver’s License
• Required: MO CNA License OR MO CMT License OR MO CMA License OR as of 1/1/2022 grandfathered with an Accredited Nurse Aide Certification

Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates:

• Up to $1,800 Sign-On Bonus
• Up to 24 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off
• Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus
