Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is hiring a Home Health Aide to support Pasadena clients with individualized plans of care and compassionate daily assistance. You will work with a nurse and other clinicians to implement care, monitor health, and report changes.

Responsibilities include helping with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation. A valid HHA and CPR certification, plus a driver’s license, are required, with weekend/evening availability and reliable

Qualifications

• Active Home Health Aide certification and CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and assist transfers safely.
• Weekend/evening/holiday availability and reliable transportation.

• Work with a registered nurse and clinicians to provide care per individualized plan.
• Record patient health status and report to the nurse.
• Provide companionship and encourage independence and self-care.
• Assist with activities of daily living: dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance, incl. use of lift devices.
• Prepare meals and snacks; may include grocery shopping.
• Light housekeeping: vacuuming, laundry, linen changes.
• Assist with incontinence care and transportation needs.

• Work with a registered nurse and other clinicians to provide care based on an individualized plan of care.
• Record your patient's health status and report it to the nurse.
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.
• Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and linen changes.
• Assist with incontinence care.
• Assist with transportation needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current and valid Home Health Aide certification
• CPR certification
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Prior home health experience preferred
• Participate in facility and company required trainings, in-services and conferences.
• Able to supervise and support physical therapist assistants; rehabilitation aides and/or students.
• Adherence to Company required policy and procedures and code of conduct.
