Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Calabasas is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our growing team. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily activities, and offer companionship, making a meaningful impact on clients' lives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or CNA preferred.
• Current HHA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed; monitor and report health changes to supervisors.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
• Maintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or CNA preferred
• Current HHA certification or willingness to obtain one
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a client-first attitude
