Job summary

Senior Helpers - Milford is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors in Milford and surrounding towns. Immediate openings are available for morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Both full-time and part-time positions (10-40 hours per week) are available.

Pay: $20-$23 per hour (based on qualifications). A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle with active car insurance, and the ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience required or preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with active car insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance using proper lifting techniques (up to 25 pounds).
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and other tasks.
• Assist with activities of daily living while encouraging independence.
• Provide transportation for errands and medical appointments as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Provide compassionate care for seniors, including those living with Alzheimer's and dementia.
