Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. is hiring per diem Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) in Essex County, Newark, NJ. You will deliver in-home care to clients, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal prep, while ensuring safety and comfort in clients' homes.

We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, and onboarding to join a premier concierge home care team. A valid New Jersey HHA certificate and U.S. work authorization are required, with preference for drivers.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of HHA experience.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Current physical examination within 1 year.
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption.
• Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, grooming, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Administer medication reminders and monitoring as directed by clients’ care plans.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and meaningful social engagement to clients.

Your Role:

As an HHA with Affine Home Care, you will support clients in maintaining safety, comfort, and independence in their homes by providing:

• Personal care and grooming assistance

• Medication reminders

• Light housekeeping and meal preparation

• Companionship and meaningful engagement

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 1 year HHA experience

• Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide Certificate

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Current physical exam (within 1 year)

• Valid PPD or QuantiFERON (within 1 year) or chest X-ray (within 5 years)

• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical exemption

• Driver’s license preferred
