Job summary

Angels Care Home Health in St. Peters, MO is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist patients in their residences under the supervision of a registered nurse.

You will provide personal care, create a safe home environment, and document observations and care performed. Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a High School Diploma (preferred), a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and at least one year of HHA/CNA experience or completion of a cert program.

Qualifications

• Meets state training requirements and is at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Experience as Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant preferred; or completion of CNA/CHHA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services to clients in their home.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment for the patient.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and supervisor; report observations and care performed.
• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse.

We want you to grow your career with us!Job DescriptionThe home health aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s personal needs and to promote comfort.
