Job summary

Aster Place Assisted Living in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Home Health Aide to support residents with compassionate care and daily living activities in a senior living environment.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, grooming, and feeding while upholding residents' rights and dignity. The role emphasizes teamwork, onboarding new staff, and a respectful, supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service focus and the ability to demonstrate the core values listed above is a must.
  • CPR certification and First Aid certification are required or willing to obtain upon hire.
  • State-approved Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program (or CNA/HHA competency evaluation program) approved by the state.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care in activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transferring, and feeding.
  • Assist residents while protecting their rights, dignity, privacy, and self-determination.
  • Be a positive teammate by helping onboard new teammates and supporting staff.

Home Health Aide - Senior Living

  • Ability to display tactful, cheerful, and enthusiastic disposition with all residents and family members.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program or a CNA or HHA competency evaluation program approved by the state.

  • Certified in CPR and First Aide Certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
