Job summary

Home Instead Care Professionals provide compassionate, person-centered care to help seniors remain independent and engaged in daily life. You’ll be part of a supportive team and receive ongoing training, competitive pay, and flexible scheduling.

As a Home Instead Care Professional, you’ll play a key role in improving quality of life for clients while navigating care plans and client needs with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of caregiving experience.
• Valid Maryland driver’s license (not a learner’s permit).
• Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance in your name.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to pass reference, background, MVR, and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support dementia and memory care needs.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication and appointment reminders.
• Transport to medical appointments and errands.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities.
