Job summary

CareRing Health seeks a dedicated Home Health Aide to deliver quality in-home care under RN or Therapist supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, support residents’ social engagement, and report changes promptly to licensed staff.

Documentation and meal support are part of daily tasks, with a focus on safety and dignity in a home care setting. Required credentials include a current CNA license, Maryland Home Health Aide license, CPR certification, and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing
• Maryland Home Health Aide license
• CPR Certificate
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with elderly in residential or long-term care settings preferred
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Observes residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse
• Completes all forms and documentation such as incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely manner
• Prepares and serves meals, assists with eating, not including tube feeding
• Makes beds, empties garbage, and tidies rooms daily and as needed

Overview

The Home Health Aide delivers quality home health care services to the Agency’s clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders, Agency and industry standards, and federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
