Job summary

CareRing Health in Maryland seeks a dedicated Home Health Aide to deliver quality in-home care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.

The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, meals, and documentation, while monitoring residents for changes and reporting to a licensed nurse. A current CNA license, MD HHA license, CPR, and a high school diploma are required, with reliable transportation preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing.
• Maryland Home Health Aide license.
• CPR Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.
• Observes residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Completes all forms and documentation such as incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely manner.
• Prepares and serves meals, assists with eating, not including tube feeding.
• M ake beds, empties garbage, and tidies rooms daily and as needed.

The Home Health Aide d elivers quality home health care services to the Agency’s clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders, Agency and industry standards, and federal and state regulations.

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
