Job summary

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is seeking compassionate home health care providers to support a special needs family member in their own home near Fort Knox, KY.

The role emphasizes daily living assistance, safety supervision, and clear communication with family and staff. Ideal candidates will have a mix of post-secondary education and experience in nursing, special/elementary education, or related fields, with preferred Licensure such as LPN or RN and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Combination of post-secondary education and/or training and experience in nursing and/or early childhood education, special education, elementary education, or relevant field of study
• Related associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Designation as LPN or related certifications desirable
• Minimum of two years’ experience working with special needs children, youth or adults

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills such as bathing, feeding, toileting, lifting/positioning, and dressing.
• Provide supervision to ensure the safety of the special needs family member.
• Interact positively and communicate effectively with the special needs family member, family members as well as with other staff members.
• Prepare written reports and documentation of the assigned family member’s needs and irregularities.

Education

Minimum of two years’ experience working with special needs children, youth or adults

Respite Care Provider- Caregiver, Home Health Aide

SRI is seeking committed and passionate professionals to provide critical home health services.

Overview

SRI is looking for compassionate health care providers who can provide in-home assistance on an on-going basis for a special needs family member who has a disability, developmental needs or a chronic illness. You will be providing a valuable service for military families in the special needs family member’s home in the areas of health, safety, behavioral, nutritional and recreational needs.
