Job summary

AFRICAN CAREGIVERS LLC is seeking a Home Health Aide to work directly with patients in their homes, following one-on-one care plans. You will deliver personalized care, build genuine relationships, and stay organized to meet patient needs.

You will assist with daily activities, maintain records, and engage patients in exercises to promote mental alertness and overall wellbeing. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care like bathing.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
