Job summary

Valley Home Care in Pennsylvania is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence with safety and comfort.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, monitor changes, and assist mobility and light housekeeping, while following HIPAA and safeguarding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to perform ADLs and light housekeeping.
• Excellent communication with care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation

• Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive and respectful environment

• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior

• Assist with mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed

• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning

• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines when handling client information

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong caregiving abilities, including personal care, cooking, and housekeeping

• Ability to work independently while also communicating effectively with a care team

• Dependable, patient, and attentive to client needs

• Commitment to providing high-quality care
