Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience.
• Two (2) years of home health administration experience.
• Experience managing a cross-functional operations team.
• Florida HHA Administrator qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Florida regulations, AHCA licensure, and survey requirements.

Position Overview

The Home Health Administrator is the senior home health executive responsible for directing the agency’s day-to-day operations, Florida licensure and regulatory compliance, administrative staffing, fiscal performance, and coordination with clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Home Health Operations & Leadership

• Direct the day-to-day operations of Agape’s Way Healthcare Services
• Lead operational functions including intake, staffing and scheduling, HR administration, office operations, billing, revenue cycle, and business-development coordination
• Establish clear expectations, workflows, accountability, and performance standards across the operations team
• Partner with the Director of Nursing while preserving appropriate clinical authority
• Ensure staffing, credentials, competencies, training, evaluations, and operational resources support safe service delivery
• Partner with clinical leadership to evaluate patient acceptance and agency capacity

Regulatory Compliance & Survey Readiness

• Maintain current knowledge of Florida HHA regulatory requirements, AHCA standards, and applicable Medicare and Medicaid requirements
• Translate regulatory changes into policies, training, workflows, and operational controls
• Lead survey readiness, internal audits, plans of correction, and ongoing compliance initiatives
• Maintain required licenses, appointments, notifications, screenings, emergency plans, contracts, and regulatory documentation
• Oversee patient rights, complaints, incidents, privacy, record integrity, and emergency preparedness

Financial & Business Performance

• Direct agency budgets and revenue-cycle controls
• Monitor eligibility, authorizations, documentation-to-bill readiness, claims, denials, appeals, accounts receivable, payroll, and vendor activity
• Establish dashboards and monitor operational and financial KPIs
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action
• Maintain appropriate fraud, waste, and abuse controls
• Report significant operational, compliance, staffing, and financial risks to executive leadership

Quality & Performance Improvement

• Lead quality assessment and performance improvement initiatives
• Conduct root-cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained
• Monitor operational performance, staffing coverage, documentation readiness, complaints, incidents, and other established metrics
• Build systems that promote accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of home health administration experience
• Experience directly managing a cross-functional operations team
• Must qualify as a Florida HHA Administrator under applicable state and federal requirements
• Strong current knowledge of Florida home health regulations and AHCA licensure and survey requirements
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, emergency preparedness, and fraud, waste, and abuse requirements
• Proven experience with survey readiness, corrective action, budgets, and revenue-cycle management
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to successfully complete required Level 2 background screening and applicable credentialing requirements

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field
• Florida Home Health Agency leadership experience
• Direct experience with AHCA surveys
• Experience leading a growing or evolving home health operation
