Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED plus six months of distribution/service center experience and six months of order filler experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, any shift, and overtime
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of product packaging and discrepancy identification
• Familiarity with distribution center receiving processes
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack; Fred Meyer lift truck certification/license required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Six months of distribution/service center experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and communicate with shippers to resolve issues
• Match merchandise and quantities to purchase orders
• Receive merchandise using handheld units and route to processing areas
• Operate lift truck as needed
