Job summary

Rooms To Go is seeking a Furniture Service Technician to visit customers' homes, evaluate and repair merchandise such as leather, upholstery, and case goods purchased from Rooms To Go. You will diagnose issues, recommend replacements, and coordinate with the customer to ensure satisfaction.

You will receive a company vehicle and all supplies needed for the job, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with company match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Self-motivated and able to follow directions in the field.
• Positive, customer-oriented attitude.
• Prior experience in wood, leather and upholstery repair is not required but can increase starting salary.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes to evaluate and repair furniture and other merchandise (leather, upholstery, case goods).
• Assist customers with replacement items for repairing or replacing furniture.
• Follow alternating work schedules (Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat).
• Provide solutions to repair or replace merchandise in customers' homes.
