Job summary

America’s Thrift Stores is seeking a Non-CDL Donation Collection Driver & Loader in Dothan, AL. You will safely drive a box truck to residential routes, receive donations, and unload them at the store while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires at least 21 years old, a clean driving record, and willingness to work flexible hours across weekdays and weekends. Join a mission-driven team that helps communities and the environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have strong navigation skills.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including days from Monday through Sunday, per DOT driving hours.
• Background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24- to 26-foot box truck on residential streets and confined spaces.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Receive donations from donors at home pickups or donation boxes, and unload at the store.
• Sort and process donations by category for storage and sale.
• Collaborate with Driver Helper to load/unload materials and maintain safety procedures.
• Uphold a courteous, professional demeanor when interacting with donors and the public.
• Maintain communications with supervisor to accommodate donor requests.
