Job summary

Bravera Bank in Mandan, ND is seeking a Home Equity / Consumer Loan Processor to prepare loan documentation, fund consumer and home equity loans, and provide centralized loan support. This role focuses on accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing in a collaborative team environment.

You will support Consumer Underwriters, Lending Officers, and Retail Staff; create CIFs; input HMDA data; and participate in ongoing training.

Description

Bravera is hiring for a Home Equity / Consumer Loan Processor in Mandan, ND. This position is primarily responsible for preparing loan documentation and funding of all consumer loans and home equity loans. Also responsible for providing loan support in a centralized environment.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • Be a trusted advisor to Consumer Loan Officers, Home Equity Lending Officers, and Retail Staff.
  • Knowledge and confidence when using the designated loan program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare consumer loan documentation, home equity loan documentation, and funding of loans for all locations.
  • Provide loan support for Consumer Underwriters, Consumer Loans Officers, Home Equity Lending Officers, and Retail Staff.
  • Create Customer Information Profile (CIF’s), as needed.
  • Responsible for preparation of second mortgage files for closing.
  • Prepare loan modification and satisfactions as needed.
  • Input Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) information into appropriate HMDA Loan Application Register (LAR).
  • Prepare and scan loan files and other miscellaneous correspondence.
  • Learn and gain proficiency in LoansPQ software and participate in ongoing training.
  • Prioritize and efficiently organize work assignments, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and promote teamwork.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive and collaborative environment that supports teamwork and excellent customer service throughout the organization.
  • Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  • Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent of 1-2 years of post-secondary education preferred
  • Experience: 1-3 years of banking experience or customer service experience
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
