Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to service and repair HVAC/R, plumbing and electrical systems across approximately 15 store locations in the Sweetwater, TX region. You will receive a company vehicle, tools, and a cell phone, with weekends off and no on-call requirements.

The role requires 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience and EPA 608 certification; you will work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills, in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal 608 certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment per warranty requirements and standards.
• Communicate repair status with supervisor and store management.
• Complete same-day work order notes and submit to supervisor; ensure proper charge allocations.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels for parts and supplies.
• Maintain service vehicle and tools to company standards.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers and relation equipment when needed.
• Inspect facility interiors and exteriors for safety and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and related systems.
• Ensure repairs comply with OSHA and Pilot Company regulations.
