Job summary

Somatus is seeking a Peritoneal Dialysis and Home Hemodialysis Registered Nurse in Virginia to deliver home dialysis treatments, assess patients, provide education, and coordinate care under medical leadership.

Daily travel up to 50% is required; you will work with the Clinical Coordinator and Facility Administrator to ensure safe, effective care and adherence to state and federal regulations. A compact nursing license and Virginia eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must have compact nursing license and ability to work in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provides home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care as applicable.
• Develops initial and ongoing patient assessments and training.
• Delivers safe, effective care under supervision of Medical Director and leadership.
• Administers and documents medications as authorized by physician and state rules.
• Maintains infection-control procedures and safe dialysis practices.
• Coordinates with Clinical Coordinator and Facility Administrator for patient scheduling and care plans.
